OBJECTIVES
In today’s world, it is critical to provide easy-access to news, resources and programs. Crime Stoppers of Houston envisioned a new website that would showcase their organization’s programs, community involvement, events, tools and crime news. They wanted to ASTOUNDZ their viewers with an interactive platform that communicated their positive effects in the community. At ASTOUNDZ, our goal was to allow them to easily and quickly create custom content to keep the community educated, aware and involved!
CHALLENGES
A website that focuses primarily on mugshots and posting rewards cannot effectively communicate programming, involvement, and resources for dealing with crime, but that is exactly the challenge Crime Stoppers was facing. Their mission encompassed a much larger scope and within a much larger scale. At ASTOUNDZ, we were tasked with creating a website that expands on their education, programs and services offered to the community. This website needed to be more inviting, using a lighter tone and removing less negativity.
RESULTS
As a result of our joint effort to create an ASTOUNDZing website, we made the site easy to navigate and more inviting to the Houston community. The new site emphasizes the importance of community awareness and involvement. Now, Crime Stoppers can easily collect donations to their worthy cause and engage more effectively socially via their website!
