SEM Rush Steps

1. Build keyword list in SEM Keyword manager.
2. Build PPC Campaign in SEM Rush.
3. Check how much it will cost to show at the top of search results using google keyword planner. This will be your max cost per click to show at the top of google.
4. Create groups of keywords with 10 to 15
5. Use phrase match and exact match

Steps In Starting A New Ad Campaign

1. Create a new campaign.
2. Select “website traffic” to “maximize clicks” at first. After receiving 10-15 conversions. You can change back to “maximum conversions” vs search traffic.
3. Set up conversion tracking calls and form submits.
4. Select Campaign type “Search” Enter URL then name campaign.
5. Set bidding strategy to manual CPC

Basic Ad Settings

Ad set to manual CPC with the top of page bigs dialed in for each keyword.
Extensions

1. Location Extension
2. Phone Number Extension
3. Request A Quote

When you set up multiple keyword groups under the same campaign, each group of keywords will have a max CPC set and will use the campaign budget. So if you want to have more control over how much each group will spend you can create a new campaign and set its daily budget.

Steps In Starting New Ad groups

1. Create new Ad group
2. Name ad group
3. Set default bid strategy
4. Copy ad groups from SEM and load keywords.
5. Build ad and include keywords in titles and descriptions
6. 15 titles 30 characters
7. 4 Descriptions 90 characters
8. Add images to ad to increase ad strength

Once the ad is built you can copy and paste campaigns to set up additional ads for the client.
