OBJECTIVES

Build both a website and web application that provides chef developed recipes and menus for assisted living communities. From there, the ASTOUNDZ SEO team was tasked to optimize and rank the site in a quickly developing niche. The objective to rank well on search was done to both drive traffic and show authority in their niche, which plays a huge role in how they sell themselves throughout Texas.

CHALLENGES

The specific challenge for this project was the execution of all three areas – Website Development, Application Development and SEO strategy. In order to drive meaningful results, all three phases of the project had to be done at the same time. For SEO, the one specific challenge was how to go about establishing authority on a totally new domain.

RESULTS

Organic search now makes up 62% of the website’s traffic. Through guest posting on partner websites and leveraging coverage of key team members, we were able to quickly establish authority in their niche and capture relevant featured snippets. In their first year of being live, the number of total users on the site has grown by 1,681%.
